Born in 1933 at Wimborne in Dorset, Hazel Farrell spent the early years of her working life helping her father run his Stationers and Printing business in her home town. She  obtained an ‘A’ level in Art at Bournemouth Art College and on her father’s retirement became a full time landscape and  portrait painter.  Mrs Farrell is a member of ‘The Society of Authors’ and  a Fellow of the ICMA.

    We follow Lucy’s journey, as she is determined to become a singer with a band. She is fostered by Kathie and Edward Mohem ay the age of sixteen and has to face many ups and downs before realising her ambition. She is helped along the way by many friends and acquaintances, while they in turn have stories of their own to tell.

 Full of incidents and unexpected turns this novel is an excellent read to be enjoyed by all.
